- General Administration: Key administrative tasks include capturing test and assignment marks, uploading relevant documents on myTUTor, reporting on student performance, and implementing remedial interventions.
- Student Consultation: Lecturers are expected to provide guidance and support to students, addressing their academic needs.
- Departmental Participation: Participation in departmental and subject meetings is crucial for collaboration and curriculum development.
- Clinical Accompaniment: A significant part of the role involves accompanying students to clinical facilities, ensuring they receive practical exposure in real-world settings.

Minimum Requirements

- Professional Registration: Candidates must hold registration as a professional nurse with the relevant nursing and midwifery registration. Additionally, registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a nurse educator, moderator, and assessor is essential.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of teaching and/or research experience at a tertiary institution is required.
