Short Learning Programmes TUT Humanities
One noteworthy initiative is the Emerging Management Development Programme, offered in collaboration with the National School of Government (NSG). Established with the vision of fostering an effective, efficient, and responsive government, NSG collaborates with institutions like TUT.
Through this partnership, TUT contributes to the NSG’s mission by delivering Emerging and Advanced Development Management Programmes, approved by the Senate as credit-bearing Short Learning Programmes (SLPs). These programs serve as pathways to National Diplomas and Bachelors of Science in Public Management.
This collaboration not only enhances TUT’s third-stream income but also positions the university as a national asset by actively participating in the state’s capacity building. Experienced government officials attracted to the university after completing these programs contribute to the enrichment of mainstream programs. The association with NSG further ensures the contextual relevance of instructional programs through curriculum development support.
